Im here in 2024 and there is still no cure.
Thank you for the reality. I know everything is possible i was just hoping that things could go right back on again. I just got diagnose so in a few months along on treatment and next month they are talking about my first stem cell tranfusion and we go from there, so im watching all the stories I can, to learn from those before me. Im doing well so far with my chemo, weekly and pills, i just had my first week break, and just started again yesterday. Have a good trip everyone and lets make it out of here!
So Great. Presentation and talking
Thanks for the information. Just relapsed and find the information useful.
RSO oil ❤
A quand la guérison complète, sans rechute
Nous le souhaitons tous assurément! De là l'importance de la recherche.
Don't use bleach to clean clothes.
nice
Kappa/lambda ratio is normal but kappa and lambda free chain assay value is high....???
Excellent!
Extremely educational and helpful,thank you❤
Great information, desperately needed. It is very important for some people to understand to the best of their ability what is going on, not that they want to become doctors, but yes a baseline understanding, which is sad but is not happening in a lot of cases for different reasons, from omissions to plain lack of experience by medical staff. The video in you Tube was cut short, is there another location where it can be found and watch in its entirety? 👍👍👍
Solidarite myelomane Mondial. Amitiés de l'île Maurice.
As a palliative home care nurse, I enjoyed this video. I am so “used” to the word palliative - and to me it has an overall positive connotation because I believe so much we help people - that I have unintentionally hurt people by saying it casually. I have never had cancer so have no idea what that experience is, to be told you have it, and what it means. Or to be told I have a condition that is palliative. I’ve also lost 2 dear “young” people in my life to MM so am happy to have found your group ❤️ I pray that palliative care DOES make a positive impact in all our lives 🙏

Thank you Dr. Nadim for this very comprehensive information on MGUS, SMM and Myelomas. I appreciate all you and your colleagues are doing to further studies and clinical trials. God bless 🙏
Are you at risk of spreading plasmacytoma if you have partial tumor resection after radiation?
In 3 months, kappa-lambda ratio went up from 3.4 to 20. Kappa is 198. Could this be defined as a light chain escape episode? All other test results are good. No M-spike detected.
Excellent lecture! Thank you!
Way to go Dave!
Thank you 😊
Please, in the future, refer to the substance in question as cannabis. Marijuana is a propaganda term promelgated by the US government to politicize and denigrate the users of cannabis for political purposes, thank you
Thanks Chris very much for all the information. I was diagnosed with myeloma two months ago and will follow up with my HCP’s on this next week.
Cannabis put an exclamation point on all aspects of life until it didn't. My last bout as a medical user of 8 years left me with acute depression of my Anandamide pathway (JOY) neurotransmitter which is what cannabis activates even more than dopamine/serotonin pathway. They dont tell anyone about that because most are ignorant of the science/facts on how cannabis affects the brain. She is a seductive bitch... I was literally insane for my first week without her, I suffered through crazy dreams, night sweats restlessness, boredom, insomnia, agitation short fuse, rage, attention deficit, apathy, detachment, anxiety, physical pain, racing thoughts, groggy, sadness, longing, fearful, grouchy, discontented, angry, irritable and depressed just to name a few of my symptoms. Extreme symptoms subsided very very slowly over the first 30 days but left a hole inside me that couldn't be filled naturally, I needed supernatural intervention. I needed a 12 step support group to help fill the void Mary Janes absence left behind. I attended AA and started to attend church on Sundays, singing worship and praise seemed to really help lift my mood, around 3-6 months life became barely tolerable, I had a full-time job that kept me busy with lots of overtime pay. I surfed a bunch and took up fishing again and sought alone time with my Creator and asked/ begged to be healed from the inside out. At one year I could experience some Joy, I was not so sad all the time, but , my dreams were nuts, lots of chasing the bag dreams for the next few years. I could concentrate again at about 18 months and focus somewhat returned. Short term memory came back online but I could not remember large chunks of my past with family, children and friends, those times I may never get back.....Mary Jane took my memories and keeps them, I suppose that is one of the price tags we pay to slow dance with her. I still miss her occasionally, she was comforting till she wasn't anymore, just becoming a dominatrix in my life, controlling most aspects of my life and ultimately most of my decision making processes... She became God like in my life, a cruel mistress if I didn't stay in her embrace/clutches at all times. I was shackled to her! I walked far away from my relationship with my Creator chasing Mary Jane for a dance. It will be 5 years without her in late December of this year. Everything is pretty normal besides nerve issues, there is inflammation and autoimmune stuff that was suppressed while dancing with her daily for 8 years that I have to deal with. Prayer life, 12 step support group meetings, getting outdoors, sunshine, vitamins and diet for self care is #1 priority. My problems are Cadillac, my perception on life has changed, life is pretty good now all things considered. Im now contemplating dating and a healthy relationship. I know how to give instead of just taking or escaping. My higher power has restored me, however there is a daily spiritual maintenance program I must do to maintain serenity in my life. I wish you all the best on your journey One day at a time! Blessings and aloha Timothy
Gardez espoir !
Dr. Roy is the best! We need more doctors like him in Canada. He gives hope to young mm patients. 😊
I walk the Earth and have been for many years in the most insane back pain. I just live with it and it does kind of control my attitude. When it doesn’t hurt or it’s not strained my life feels like there’s a burden lifted off of me, because there actually is, my life is way better. I’m less angry, but I cannot be stoned maybe once in a blue moon. There’s no cure for my pains 😂
Very informative!!!
You bring up light chain escape which is not a real phenomenon, it is undetected hook from tbe assay used meaning the flcs were always high, just hooking
Is there a better time of day to have this test?
I quit weed almost 10 years ago, but i grow it. I have covid 19, i ate some of my buds without decarbing as i read up on the pain and antiviral properties. 1st off, let me tell you, this is one of the most beautiful presentations that i have seen. It is such a logical, strategic, and scientific demonstration. This presentation put a lightbulb over my head with how to use this to treat pain while avoiding unwanted side effects. My covid experience felt like acute opioid withdrawl, i had drug cravings because it was so bad and i felt like i wanted to take something to mask the pain and anxiety/dread. I have been sober from opioids for 4 years and have no intention of going back. The cannabis i consumed (Raw, 1.5 year-old buds) not only made me lose all drug cravings, my pain and sumptoms completely halted.. I feel great. I can feel that it must have decarbed a bit over the year as i do feel a mild to small high. *edit, the high is definitely not placebo, I am totally feeling a myriad of tactile, mental, and euphoric sensations. I read up on natural decarb over time, the buds were amazingly frosted during growth from seeds my friend runs as a legal grow op for his business. I would like to have leas high, but keep the euphoria/pain reliever. I almost want to investigate further on treating opiod addiction with cannabis in the clinical setting as well. This totally brushes on some of those feelings to mask cravings and withdrawal symptom benefits.
Merci
Merci
Great info. Thanks sir

I need some bad I have a 20 inch Harrington Rod in my Back now for over 45 years ..life is so hard on me
Great info. :)
Merci 🙏🍀
🤕🏥
One example was not explained -- What if both light chains are high. But ratio is normal. K: 65 L: 44 Ratio: 1.47 -- Serum protein electrophoresis does not suggest a monoclonal pattern.
This is most likely a reduced glomerular filtration rate and both kflc and lflc are being retained at higher rates
Merci dr
🙏❤️
